Our client, an acknowledged leader in the upstream sector of the oil and gas industry, requires the services of qualified, competent, and experienced professionals to fill existing vacancies in the following senior position category:

Position: Senior Project Engineer Mechanical

The fortunate senior professional is expected to be able to supervise and coordinate site mechanical construction activities for crude oil tank rehabilitation in line with approved company and international standards & specifications.

Key Challenges
  • Manage Contractor HSSE during project delivery to ensure achievement of zero fatality and no significant spill to the environment and minimising potential for Contractor downtime and claims.

Qualification/Experience:
  • Bachelor Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Production Engineering or Equivalent
  • With a minimum of 10-12 years cognate experience in construction and rehabilitation of crude storage tanks.

The candidate MUST OF NECESSITY BE AN -API 653 CERTIFIED Engineer with proven experience in the area of crude storage tank rehabilitation and ability to manage the interfaces with various stakeholders (Operations, HSE, Security and Community Relations disciplines) during project execution and with an HSSE management record in a Brownfield construction/concurrent operations environment

Job Vacancy for a Stores Manager in Kisumu Kenya Sep 2012 Our client is a market leader in FMCG sector. The company has a countrywide distribution network and now seeks to recruit a Stores Managers to enhance operations at their Kisumu Office.
The Job
Reporting to the Depot Manager, the holder will :
  • Provide a full range of store services in line with management policy on store management and stock
  • control of all products.
  • Initiate the process of stock replenishment.
  • Monitor stocks expiry dates and make necessary recommendations.
  • Make recommendations to the management on matters pertaining to receiving, storage and dispatch of products.
  • Coordinate the daily/weekly/monthly stock takes, and making necessary corrections and recommendations to management.
  • Prepare weekly/monthly reports as required from time to time by management.
  • Coordinate with user departments to identify stock requirements.
  • Continuously monitor the stock levels to ensure optimum stock levels are maintained, while ensuring no stock outs.
  • Ensure continuous safety awareness is conducted and understood by all stores staff.
The Person The ideal candidate should have:
  • Degree in Business Administration or related field.
  • Diploma in Stores Management
  • A qualification in CPA 1 o II.
  • Have 3–5 years in stores management.
  • Have stock management skills.
  • Have good interpersonal skills
  • Be Computer Literate.
  • Problem solving, Planning and organizing skills
  • Attention to detail and business Acumen

This position is based in Kisumu and the interested candidates have to be ready to relocate.
